Yes. Your diamond is grown from carbon — the same element that makes up every diamond on earth — extracted from the hair or ashes you entrust to us. It is then crystallised under high pressure and temperature, cut by master cutters, and independently certified. It will test as a diamond because it is a diamond.
Far less than most people expect — a few grams of hair (a small lock) or a small portion of ashes. The rest remains untouched with you. Exact quantities are confirmed during your consultation and depend on the diamond you choose.
Through a documented chain of custody. Your sample is sealed in your presence or on receipt, assigned a unique identity that follows it through every stage, and every hand-off is logged and receipted. You receive the full provenance record with your diamond, alongside its independent certification.
Most commissions take four to eight months from sample to delivery, depending on carat and colour. Wedding Legacy diamonds should be commissioned at least six months before the ceremony. We will always give you an honest timeline before you commit — and keep you informed throughout.
Yes. A single sample often yields enough carbon for multiple stones — many families commission a set so that siblings or children each carry one. Family sets are a signature of our Heirloom tier.
